What started out as a simple desire to learn more about texturing winded up being a series of typographic vases. I’ve been working on and off on “36 Days of Type: and have been in the mood for more exploration on the letterforms. Flipping through my sketchbook, I saw a title page I scribbled months ago and that was when the idea came to life.

From the start, I know that I want the vases to be geometric and simple in shapes so I can focus on the texture and make them the main focal point. After all, this is an playground for me to better my texture skill in a more organic way. Substance Painter makes the process easy and fun
